Fractal Circles is an open‑source platform that lets communities make decisions together – in small circles that scale to thousands of people. No bosses and no hidden algorithms, just transparent ratings and rotating responsibility.
The first stable release is out! We are still short on funding. The developers have put several hundreds of hours into the project. Please help us to give some!

What Are Fractal Circles?
Fractal Circles uses fractal organizational structures to support participatory, inclusive decision‑making. Instead of a top‑down hierarchy, communities meet in interconnected circles where every voice matters and contributions are visible through transparent rating systems.
It’s Already Working
We use the fractal method in real gatherings, community groups and workshops. Our beta platform is live and being tested. People already use Fractal Circles to:
- Plan and run self‑organised events
- Share responsibilities and resources fairly
- Make decisions that the whole group can stand behind
Why We Need Your Support Now
2025–2026 is the window where we can move from a working prototype to a stable public tool. We are a small, experienced team, building this as open infrastructure so movements and communities everywhere can use it for free.

- Continue core platform development and backend scaling
- Improve the interface and participant experience
- Cover server and hosting costs for the coming year
- Create clear training materials and step‑by‑step guides
- Support pilot circles in several countries and contexts
Current goal: 2,000 € to complete and harden the first public version of the Fractal Circles platform.
